NHL in Winnipeg next season?

With the problems going on in Phoenix on getting their ownership issues taken care of, the NHL is preparing a contingency plan to instate a team based out of Winnipeg back into the NHL for next season.

The schedule makers have a backup scheduled being made in case this becomes reality. The Jets would move into the North West Division with the Canucks, Flames, Oilers, and Wild, while the Avalance would move to the Pacific Division to take place for the Coyotes.

The Winnipeg based team would play out of the 15,000 person MTS Centre, also the home of the Manitoba Moose, the Canucks farm team.
