VAN- Rumour has Scott Niedermeyer considering joining the Nucks next season
CHI- With winning the Conn Smyth trophy for playoff MVP, Jon Toews will receive a $1.3 million bonus. This bonus will be a cap hit next year and will hurt the Hawks chances of signing everyone. Toews is also the youngest member of the Triple Gold Club which has 24 members. Toews will also be a presenter at this years MMVA awards in Toronto.

WAS- Ted Leonsis, owner of the Capitals has purchased the NBA's Washington Wizards as well as the Verizon Centre. His company, Monumental Sports & Entertainment now has an asset base of $825 million.
ANA- Paul Kariya may come back to the Ducks if Temmu Selanne stays.
ANA- Saku Koivu will likely sign elsewhere, two teams rumoured are the Wild and the Canadiens.
OTT- Likely to buy out the contract of Jonathan Cheechoo
